Our interlocking tatami mats are designed to provide maximum protection during martial arts practice, contact sports, gymnastics, yoga, and other sports activities that require a safe, cushioned surface, perfect for absorbing falls and insulating from direct contact with the floor.

Embossing: A fundamental element of the tatami
The surface design of the tatami is essential to ensure its full functionality. The embossing must provide the right grip, preventing slips, without being uncomfortable for the practitioner. Our experience has led us to choose:
- Rice Straw Embossing (4 cm thickness): Ideal for disciplines that involve ground fighting, as it does not irritate the skin and ensures comfort during prolonged contact.
- Cross Embossing (2 cm thickness): Perfect for disciplines characterized by kicking techniques, thanks to the optimal grip that provides stability to the supporting foot.
The Interlocking System
Our tatami features a reversible dovetail interlocking system that allows the pieces to be assembled on both sides, creating customized surfaces to suit specific needs.
The interlocking system includes nine dovetail joints per side, fewer than traditional tatami mats available on the market.
This solution, the result of our expertise, ensures greater surface stability once laid and minimizes – or even eliminates – the risk of the pieces coming apart, thus preventing potential hazards for those practicing on the tatami.

Our tatami mats come with all the necessary certifications for gym use, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Upon request, the certificates will be included in the estimate to provide full transparency.
Traditional Tatami, Including IJF Approved Models
Upon request, we provide traditional tatami mats with a thickness of 4 cm and 5 cm, available in 1×1 m and 2×1 m formats. Unlike interlocking tatami made of expanded foam, traditional tatami consist of a slab of bonded rubber covered with a vinyl layer embossed with a rice straw pattern. The base is coated with an anti-slip material to ensure maximum stability during use. IJF (International Judo Federation) approved traditional tatami, ideal for official competitions, are also available upon request.
