Design: The Tokaido Karate Shin Guard in the “Kanji” version is a high-level protection, designed specifically for kumite. It combines foot and shin protection, connected via a Velcro fastening system, ensuring stability and practicality.
Padding: The foot protector is made of pre-formed material with an anatomical shape that wraps and protects the foot. The shin guard, however, offers multi-layered protection that wraps the tibia, ensuring comfort and safety during use.
Coating: Durable PU coating, soft to the touch and tearproof, designed to last over time even with intensive use.
Closure: The shin guard is fixed to the leg with a system of three elastic bands with Velcro, guaranteeing perfect stability. The foot protector is anchored to the foot via ring elastics for the big toe, a large elastic that passes under the sole of the foot and a further elastic that stabilizes the protection by turning behind the Achilles tendon. Foot guard and shin guard are connected to each other with a velcro system.
Details: The shin guard is embellished with the Japanese Tokaido kanji, embroidered with black thread inside the elastic, adding a touch of elegance and tradition.
WKF Approval: This product is approved by the World Karate Federation (WKF) and is suitable for all international WKF competitions, as well as for FIJLKAM competitions and those of Promotion Bodies that adopt WKF regulations .
