Design: The SMAI Women’s Karate Chest Protector consists of a protective section that wraps around the abdomen, supported by an upper tank-top style section made of stretch Lycra, inside which the protective plastic cup for the chest is inserted. Wearing this abdominal protector is much more comfortable for the athlete compared to placing the full WKF body protector over the sports bra, which is certainly bulkier and restricts movement more.
Material: The ultra-lightweight materials offer an excellent level of protection. The abdominal protector is worn under the karategi and does not hinder the athlete’s full range of natural movements.
Weight: Extremely light, it allows complete freedom of movement.
Certification: Approved by the World Karate Federation, it can be used in all international WKF events and in Italy in FIJLKAM competitions and in those of Promotion Bodies that adopt these regulations.
